LG Mobile has officially announced its newest flagship smartphone, the LG G4. The Korean-based mobile phone brand hopes that its first smartphone running on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system will either replicate or surpass the success of its previous award-winning flagship phone, the G3.
The G4 has some of its predecessor's features, including a 16 megapixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization but has an f/1.8 aperture lens which you can take better picture in low light compared to the f/1.9 lens of the Samsung Galaxy S6. And then there is its removable 3000 mAh battery with fast charge technology that allows full charging within an hour.
Instead of an octa core processor, the LG G4 is now powered by a 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 hexa core processor with 3 GB of RAM. Its 5.5-inch high-definition screen comes with quantum display, a new type of LCD technology that results in higher brightness and better color reproduction, and a stunning quad HD resolution. Oh, and don't forget the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for scratch resistance.
Here is a first look on LG's newest flagship smartphone:
The LG G4 will be available soon and it will come first to its hometown, South Korea.
