It is an evident fact that ABS-CBN is one of those leading the call to millions of Filipinos to show the world their all-out support for the People's Champion Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao in his historic boxing showdown with Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. on May 3 (Manila time) through its "Isang Laban para kay Pacman" campaign. And as part of its ongoing successful and highly engaging campaign, the Kapamilya network has officially launched its own tribute song for the People's Champ entitled "Isang Laban, Isang Bayan".
This song, which is considered as a war song to be offered to Manny Pacquiao in his May 3 fight, encapsulates the feeling of unity that has pervaded many Filipinos since the surprising announcement of what is considered to be the richest and most highly-anticipated fight in the history of boxing today. It was composed by Jonathan Manalo, arranged by Kidwolf, and even performed live by Yeng Constantino and Quest last April 22 on the daily noontime variety show "It's Showtime".
